Due to another outstanding year, Gravitate Accounting are looking for a talented Digital Accountant to join our team.

We are an ambitious accountancy practice that goes against the norm. We are leaving the old-fashioned ways of accountancy in the dust, setting new and better standards, and always putting our people at the heart of our success.  

Gravitate is an award-winning firm of 30+ staff that has grown significantly in recent years, and we are looking for people to join us on this journey.

Salary range: £22,500 - £28,000 DOE

What the job involves

We use the latest and most innovative technology in the industry to automate our clients’ accounting systems, allowing us to focus on adding real value to their businesses, and enabling them to focus on their business success.

As part of our team, you will:

• Work closely with our clients to make their lives easier
• Complete daily bookkeeping tasks and keep client records accurate and up to date
• Prepare insightful monthly management accounts  
• Prepare year-end accounts for various business sizes and types
• Offer responsive, friendly and helpful Xero and app support to clients
• Research and promote exciting technologies to drive automation
• Help spread the word about Gravitate Accounting on various social media platforms

What do we want to see from you?

• A team player
• Positive attitude
• Driven to deliver
• Capable of building strong relations internally and with clients with the proven ability to influence
• Xero Certified and good knowledge of the associated apps
• 2+ years' experience working in an accounts practice
• Experience in Management Accounts, Monthly reporting, Finance Processes
• Analysis skills using Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets  
• Most of all you must be able to WOW clients
