Gravitate Accounting

Houston, we have updates! 🚀

Week 24 is officially coming to an end at Gravitate HQ and what an exciting week it has been.

We're incredibly proud to congratulate Digital Accountant Charlie Goodwin on passing his AAT Applied Management Accounting exam, and Digital Apprentice Morgan Bland on achieving an impressive 90% on her AAT Synoptic exam.

Morgan shared her excitement about completing her AAT Level 2: "It feels incredible to hit this milestone! I can't believe how fast time has flown as it only feel a like I started my Accounting Apprenticeship yesterday but in fact it was 15 months ago. I'm super excited to now work towards my Level 3 AAT and get to back studying but firstly, I'd to thank all of the team for helping and supporting me through Level 2!"

Team Gravitate wasn't just celebrating internally this week. We also took a trip down to London for the annual Xerocon event, eager to learn about the latest industry updates.

Client FC Adam Betts shared his key takeaways from the event: "All the entertainment was incredible – Xero really knows how to put on a show! The two-day event was super insightful, filled with learning about new tech advancements. I love how Xero prioritises its clients, and this is reflected in the updates they make to streamline processes."

On Thursday evening, the Gravitate Corporate Finance team enjoyed an evening of networking and socialising at the annual "Knights Summer Drinks" event. A big thank you to Knights Solicitors for the invitation – our team had a fantastic time!

Here's what Co-Founder Sam Newton had to say: "It was good to meet and mingle with lots of local professionals in Sheffield. A really good crowd and even better atmosphere."
